Job Description

A ssistant Property Manager

This role will support the Property Manager and Facilities Management Team in overseeing our diverse residential and commercial properties throughout Eagle County. The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, and capable of juggling shifting priorities with professionalism.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Property Manager in all daily operations of the Property and Facility Management Department.
  • Provide coverage for the Property Manager and other team members during absences.
  • Manage contract administration for both residential and commercial leases, including new agreements, renewals, compliance, and record-keeping.
  • Prepare, follow up on, and post work orders including all vendor invoicing for Property Manager’s review.
  • Identify general maintenance and repair needs; coordinate completion of repairs with vendors and staff.
  • Maintain and update a routine maintenance schedule for all properties.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
  • Generate and maintain property reports, work orders, and compliance tickets.
  • Track and report on open action items and departmental deliverables.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of property data including rent rolls, lease terms, pricing, expirations, and square footage.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience in Property Management, Facilities Management, or Office Management—or a combination of these.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar, spelling, and professional composition.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong multitasking ability and comfort managing interruptions.
  • Personal integrity and a collaborative, proactive work style.
  • Must be comfortable handling confidential information.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to use a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • College degree preferred.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift
