Job Title: Youth Sports Instructor

Amazing Athletes and Soccer Stars are the leading children's sports enrichment programs that focus on teaching young athletes the fundamentals of multiple sports while fostering a love for fitness and healthy lifestyles. Our programs aim to enhance children's physical abilities and instill confidence through fun, engaging activities. The core sports in our Amazing Athletes programs are Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis, Track/Field, and Volleyball.

Position Overview:

As a Youth Sports Instructor at Amazing Athletes/Soccer Stars, you will have the opportunity to mentor and educate children ages 1 and up in a variety of sports. Your passion for sports and working with kids will be crucial in delivering high-quality instruction and creating a positive environment where every child can thrive. Coaches do not need to have experience or knowledge in every sport.

Currently offering morning classes, with after-school soccer commencing in late March.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging sports classes for children, focusing on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and FUN.
• Instruct participants on basic techniques and rules of various sports including soccer, basketball, baseball, and more.
• Implement provided age-appropriate drills and activities that promote physical fitness and motor skills.
• Provide encouragement and constructive feedback to youth athletes to enhance their skill levels and confidence.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to promote Amazing Athletes values and mission.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and experiences.

Requirements

• A genuine passion for sports, physical fitness, and working with children.
• Previous experience in coaching, teaching, or instructing children. Sports is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with children and parents.
• Ability to create a fun, engaging, and instructional atmosphere for youth participants.
• Strong organizational skills to plan and execute classes effectively.
• Reliable, professional, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, classes available weekday mornings, after-school, evenings, and weekends.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• U.S. Soccer license or related sports certifications a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Benefits

*Compensation*

• Assistant Coach starting pay: $18-$20 per hour, with potential for advancement.
• Lead Coach starting pay: $20-$25 per hour, based on experience.
• Commissions and bonuses available for selling or successfully referring additional locations, schools, players, coaches, etc.
• Opportunities for quick promotion to Lead Coach, which includes a pay increase.
