About the Role We are seeking an experienced
User Experience Designer to join a leading retail organization known for delivering innovative digital experiences to millions of customers. This role focuses on creating high-fidelity prototypes and advancing design concepts for mobile and web platforms. You will collaborate closely with UX, Product, and Engineering teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment to shape future-state journeys and interaction models.
Job Description As a User Experience Designer, you will:
- Deliver end-to-end interactive prototypes for web and mobile (primarily iOS), including screens, flows, transitions, and micro-interactions.
- Create prototypes that demonstrate strong visual polish, motion principles, and interaction depth for storytelling and UX research.
- Contribute to conceptual interaction models and future-state journeys through prototyping and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to test ideas, identify opportunities, and align on direction.
- Participate in design sprints, critiques, and co-creation workshops.
- Maintain quick, iterative turnaround cycles, frequently delivering updates for feedback.
- Engage in team rituals such as daily stand-ups, design reviews, and working sessions.
Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience as a UX Engineer, Creative Technologist, Prototyper, or Front-End Technologist in design-focused environments
- Coding samples demonstrating ability to build functional prototypes.
- Proficiency with high-fidelity prototyping tools such as Figma, Principle, Framer, ProtoPie, or similar.
- Ability to build data-driven prototypes using JavaScript/TypeScript, React/React Native, and lightweight Node.js scripts.
- Strong portfolio showcasing mobile app prototypes, high-fidelity interactions, motion design, and conceptual explorations.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools for prototype workflows.
- Experience collaborating with UX, Product, and Engineering teams in fast-paced, iterative environments.
Preferred: - Experience creating prototypes that support early-stage design thinking, storytelling, and vision work.
- Advanced Figma capabilities (API integration, plugin development, MCP, or similar).
- Experience designing complex motion systems or micro-interaction patterns for mobile interfaces.
