Job Description

The District Sales Manager is responsible for achieving district sales targets for the company and managing all resources, including clinical support and field sales representatives. This role involves overseeing and leading the identification of business opportunities, building and fostering client relationships, and ensuring the effective sales of products to meet or exceed sales forecasts and goals. The position reports directly to the Regional Sales Director. Responsibilities include: Relationship selling, partnering, and managing accounts. Fiscal budgetary responsibility. Asset and inventory management. Initiating and evaluating corporate pricing agreements to ensure competitive value. Creating and executing business plans. Selling and securing orders from existing and potential customers. Submitting periodic activity, sales volume, and training reports. Supporting sales associates and clinical support in developing and selling to new accounts. Contributing to the success of sales and marketing plans through targeted sales efforts. Role Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in medical device or medical products sales. Skills and Knowledge: Proven sales success, preferably in Orthopedics, Spine, or Operating Room environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Leadership and motivation capabilities demonstrated through involvement in team, fraternal, or philanthropic organizations. Goal setting and achievement record. Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment, including email communication. Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance. Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
