Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team! This role offers flexibility with part-time hours (25-30 hours per week), providing the opportunity to work both on-site and remotely. As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations and maintaining smooth financial processes.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience in accounting
3 to 5 years of accounting experience
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, including QuickBooks inventory management
Skilled in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently while maintaining an organized approach
Strong problem-solving skills
Team-oriented, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate professionally
Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable: Process, review, and pay bills while maintaining clear communication with vendors as needed
Credit Card Transactions: Accurately enter and track credit card transactions
Payroll: Review and enter payroll bi-monthly, including 401(k) and HSA reporting
Cash Management: Handle deposits, wire transfers, Positive Pay management, and prepare cash reports
Case Settlement Accounting: Oversee case settlement accounting and reporting
Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards
1099 Preparation: Prepare and process 1099s
Collaboration with CPA: Provide necessary year-end information to assist in tax preparation
