At MKBC, we save lives every day by providing blood products to hospitals in PA and NJ. The Collections Registered Nurse position supports the Blood Center by collecting blood donations (blood and blood products) safely from volunteer donors in a compassionate and professional manner. The anticipated salary range starts at $36.00-$43.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience. In addition, Miller-Keystone offers the following to all full-time employees:

What you will be doing:

• Ensure collection events are in full compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Ensure donors receive outstanding customer service.
• Supervise Collections staff and ensure efficiency of processes.
• Review QC, Incident Reports, 16-year-old consents, and ensure any other required paperwork is completed accurately.

What you will bring to the role:

• Current RN license for the State of New Jersey.
• 2 years' experience in a supervisory role is required.
• Trained in apheresis and/or dialysis.
• Automated collections experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Additional information: This position reports directly to the Donor Collections Manager

• Hours vary daily based on schedule of blood drives as follows:
  • Mondays (every other) - 7:30am - 3:30pm
  • Tuesdays - 11:30am - 7:30pm
  • Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays - 7:30am - 3:30pm
  • Saturdays (every other) - 6:00am - 1:30pm
  • Wednesdays & Thursdays are working mobile sites. All other days are working in the Main Blvd location.
• To best meet the needs of our donors and community, staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, and on-call to cover weekends and holidays
• A schedule is provided two weeks in advance

• The first two weeks of training will take place onsite at our blood center at 1465 Valley Center Parkway Bethlehem, PA.
