JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall product strategies and capacity plans to meet sales and profit targets. This role holds a crucial part in the life cycle of products at DB Roberts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.
Manage multiple associates responsible for performing Product Group tasks such as:
Quote Accelerator quotes.
Price and Delivery requests via Action process
Uploading and maintenance of Vendor quotes, both through quoting process and system upload.
Act as liaison for Divisional / Regional support issues as brought by management.
Work with other Product Group Management team members on projects to best improve support avenues for DB Roberts.
Collaborate with sales team on quoting needs and provide timely feedback on requests to support sales opportunities.
Collaborate with Asset / Purchasing to ensure right sourcing avenues are used to improve business opportunity.
As well, identify potential issues with suppliers and address with key management members to quickly address and resolve.
Work with Contracts group to ensure proper loading and maintenance of contract pricing as needed.
Support Programs team with implementation needs for customer stock programs.
Assist in EAU pricing, minimum buy determination, and clarify NCNR requirements.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in product and management roles; or
College degree in related field is preferred with minimum of 2 years of experience in product and management.
Experience in Fastener/Hardware related industry and/or Distribution industry preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR. ITAR defines a US Person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (I.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Must be able to report to assigned office location during scheduled in office workdays.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Expertise in the product or market including specific technical or industry knowledge.
Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure.
Natural tendency to be curious, positive, and creative.
Team player who collaborates well with others.
Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to delving deep into the challenges they present or experience.
Strong Sourcing Skillset - Support region with ability to answer, or direct answers for sourcing needs, including sourcing needs outside of core products.

Domestic Travel 10-20%
