We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us. Position Summary Referees will officiate games, ensure safety, and uphold the integrity of play. Referees will prep game areas, enforce rules, engage with athletes of all ages, and support a fun, safe environment. Primar Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Enforce and teach laws of the game Prep game area and conduct proper team check-ins (games must run on time) Ensure a safe environment for athletes, sidelines, and spectators (recognizing and acting on safety precautions) Communicating using clear, constructive, and simple language Must enjoy interacting with a wide age range of athletes Friendly and courteous with athletes, customers, and venue team members Desire to hone your craft capitalizing on your strengths and remaining open to areas of improvement Neat in appearance and professional in manner and communication Inspiring confidence and self-belief Attend staff meetings/trainings as required Additional tasks assigned by management Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age 2 years of officiating experience (at any level) Appropriate Licenses/Certifications required Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skill Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, predominately evenings, and arrive ahead of game time Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications, or willingness to obtain within a specified period of time Working Conditions And Physical Requirements Must be able to move or lift lightweight equipment (goals into place, etc.) Position requires standing and activity for extended periods of time (in sometimes inclement weather), squatting, stooping, jogging, sprinting, or bending into awkward positions while performing job functions Job Posted by ApplicantPro Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Part-time Job function Job function Administrative Industries Business Consulting and Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at The Sports Facilities Companies by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Referee” roles.
