We are looking for a sharp professional that possesses these top 3 skills:

• Personal care/ OTC product experience (not oral or color cosmetics)
• Strong chemist background (formulation)
• 7+ years of bench experience

Pay: $91k-$110k
Schedule: M-F 8a-4:15p
Type of Job: Direct Hire
Location : 100% onsite- Oak Brook

R&D Formulation Chemist Daily Tasks : What you will do:

• Formulate new recipes
• Scale up new formulations
• Understand the technical, regulatory, competitive, cost, operational, project timing, etc aspects that go into scaling up products to make an organization successful.
• Propose solutions to raw material issues when working with vendors
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and documentation of work
• Keep up with new industry trends
• Collaborate with other internal teams

R&D Formulation Chemist Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical OTC industry
• 7-10+ years of Product formulation experience (personal care products/ OTC products)
