**Job Title: Production Assistant Pay: $19-21** **Job Description** This role involves unpackaging parts, with orders ranging from 2 to 2,000+, as part of a job shop. After unpacking, you will be responsible for racking the parts using a heavy-duty metal spring clip, similar to hanging ornaments on a tree. Strong grip strength is essential to ensure the clip does not scratch the fixtures. The role may involve racking for up to 10 hours a day. **Responsibilities** + Unpackage parts according to order specifications. + Rack fixtures using metal spring clips, ensuring no damage to the components. + Assist with packaging products after anodizing and painting to prevent damage during transportation. + Inspect completed parts to confirm quantities and quality. + Move finished goods to the shipping area. **Essential Skills** + Production and packaging experience + Assembly and manufacturing experience + Attention to detail + Good grip strength + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs + 90% of the job requires walking or standing **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6+ months of manufacturing experience + Ability to bend and access parts from various shelving units + Self-starter with the ability to work independently + Effective communication skills with employees, customers, and vendors **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a stable work environment with a no layoff policy. The work involves regular standing, handling, and reaching, with occasional stooping, kneeling, and climbing. The facility spans 80,000 sq. ft., with a well-ventilated environment housing anodizing tanks, concrete floors, and no requirement for steel-toed boots. With only 50 employees, the facility seeks independent, driven workers. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
