Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a top law firm who is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is crucial for ensuring that our payroll processes are accurate, compliant, and timely. 

Job Title: Payroll Supervisor
Location: Remote 
Salary Range: $102,000-$143,500
Travel Requirement: May require travel to Washington, DC once a quarter

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the payroll workload, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with federal and state laws.
• Process semi-monthly and monthly multi-state payroll, including handling garnishments, benefits, and taxes.
• Supervise Payroll Coordinators and their work products.
• Analyze and improve existing policies and procedures.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, and more.
• Collaborate with the technology team to review and test system updates.
• Monitor accurate updates for new hires, promotions, and terminations.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll.
• Lead payroll-related initiatives and projects.
• Uphold high standards of confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
