Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $28- $30/hour (DOE)

Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in Sherman Oaks. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (WFN) , and previous experience in the healthcare industry . This hybrid role is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 1,600 employees using ADP Workforce Now
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure timely updates to benefits, garnishments, and deductions
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and benefits deductions
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Prepare payroll-related reports for audits, tax filings, and management as needed
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes as they relate to payroll and benefits

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is required
  • Prior payroll experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of wage and hour laws, especially California labor regulations
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
