Internship Program Highlights

• 12-week paid internship ($20/hour, 40 hours/week)

What You'll Do

• Perform basic mechanical engineering assignments with oversight and direction from a staff mentor or professional engineer.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents with instructions by utilizing CAD/Revit.
• Collaborate with project team to solve technical and design problems in line with SMRT standards.
• Prepare 2D/3D presentations and design drawings.
• Attend client meetings and/or site visits alongside project staff.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure quality and consistency across mechanical engineering deliverables
• Contribute to the intern project and team initiatives

Requirements

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled in an Bachelor of Science or Master in Mechanical Engineering degree program.
• Familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) a plus
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
