Office Technician (T) - Associate Warden, Central Services
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Warden, Central Services performs a variety of assignments with a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing assigned tasks. Completes routine office details; maintains confidential and administrative files; attends meetings and conferences; takes and/or summarizes notes into minutes and subsequently makes distribution as necessary; arranges correspondence for reply in order of priority with appropriate background material attached for reference. Screens all incoming correspondence and refers same to the appropriate staff member for reply ensuring adequate follow-up and those deadlines are met.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. Candidates new to CDCR are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
