Overview The Luau Show Stage Manager reports to the Director of Luau Operations and oversees the daily operations of the Luau Show, including hiring, training, supervising staff, and ensuring high performance standards. The role involves promoting Hawaiian/Polynesian culture, songs, and dances, and providing exceptional guest service. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Luau Operations and coordinate with the F&B Luau Managers and show staff. Manage all aspects of the Luau Show operations, including staffing, rehearsals, and performance execution. Conduct pre-shift and post-shift meetings, maintain show notes, and report discrepancies. Hire, train, coach, and discipline staff, and manage schedules and attendance. Coordinate rehearsals, auditions, costume washing, and inventory management. Ensure safety, health, sanitation, and compliance with legal and hotel standards. Handle guest interactions, complaints, and feedback professionally. Attend production meetings and ensure staff are trained on SOPs and job tasks. Monitor expenses and stay within budget. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Essential: Proven managerial experience in show production or similar roles. Extensive knowledge of Hawaiian/Polynesian dance and music. High-level dance skills and ability to perform in the show. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to perform dance routines and stand for extended periods.
