We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Low Voltage Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee various low voltage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves collaborating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure successful execution and implementation of low voltage systems, including but not limited to security systems, telecommunications, audio/visual installations, and data/fiber networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall project lifecycle including estimating, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of low voltage projects.
Coordinate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
Allocate project resources and ensure team members are on task. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Prepare and manage project budgets and invoices.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve any project-related issues.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience managing low voltage projects. Knowledge of low voltage systems, including security, networking, and audio/visual systems.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with AccuBid estimating software is a plus.
