ROLE OVERVIEW Personal Insurance Auto and Home Agents will be responsible for: + Providing comprehensive insurance solutions. + Evaluating risk. + Confidently asking for the sale while overcoming objections. You will have a hybrid work format, if you reside within commutable distacne to either Hartford, CT or San Antonio, TX (Tue,Wed,Thur in office). SCHEDULE Training Program: + Starts on June 30th and lasts for 9 weeks, until approximately August 29th. + Please note that time off during training is not accommodated. Training Hours: + Pacific Time: Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm PST. + Mountain Time: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm MST. + Central Time: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm CST. + Eastern Time: Mon-Fri 9:30am-6:00pm EST REMOTE Post-Training Hours: + Pacific Time: Mon-Fri 11:30am-8:00pm PST & every other Sat 6:30am-3:00pm PST. + Mountain Time: Mon-Fri 11:30am-8:00pm MST & every other Sat 7:30am-4:00pm MST. + Central Time: Mon-Fri 11:30am-8:00pm CST & every other Sat 8:30am-5:00pm CST. + Eastern Time: Mon-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm EST & every other Sat 9:30am-6:00pm EST HYBRID Post-Training Hours: Mon-Fri 9:30am-6:00pm local & every other Sat 9:30am-6:00pm EST / 8:30am-6:00pm CST For the weeks you work on Saturday, you will receive Wednesday off. COMPENSATION The hourly rate for this position is $23 or $24, depending on your experience. We are a metric driven, pay-for-performance, award-winning sales organization. There is potential to earn lucrative rewards, including monthly, quarterly, and annual pay-outs along with sales incentives and contests. Average monthly earnings are $500+, with top monthly earners exceeding $2000. There is an opportunity to earn up to a 10% shift differential for weekend hours. QUALIFICATIONS: + 2 + years of recent sales experience required. + Current/prior call center experience required. + Comfort with negotiation and overcoming objections. + Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling an average of 20-30 inbound calls per day. + Capability to maintain all state licenses and terminate prior carrier relationships as applicable. + Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + High speed broadband cable internet service with minimum upload/download speeds of 100MB download/10MB upload. Your Internet provider-supplied device must be hard-wired to the Hartford-i issued router and/or computer. A distraction free environment is essential. + Spanish-English Bilingual skill set and fluency a plus. Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $42,800 - $64,200 The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
