Industrial, Oil & Gas Chemical Cleaning Field Supervisor - Industrial Experienced

Classification: Non-Exempt.

Department: UDCC.

Reports to: Project Manager / Operations Manager.

Summary/Objective: 

The Industrial, Oil & Gas Chemical Cleaning Field Supervisor will lead crews in performing chemical cleaning and unit decontamination work to safely and effectively complete projects at industrial facilities. The Industrial, Oil & Gas Chemical Cleaning Field Supervisor will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials, emergency response, and waste disposal.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coach, and develop staff members, assist in training all new employees in completion of expected job duties in accordance with all company and client policy.
  • Supervise staff members’ workplace performance and attendance.
  • Ensure all equipment functions properly, adhere to and enforce all safety OSHA guidelines, policy, and procedures.
  • Must have specific knowledge of circulation and chemical injection pumps.
  • Must have specific knowledge of Oil and Gas processing equipment.
  • Load out jobs and be familiar with all pieces of equipment necessary to complete the required job scope safely and effectively.
  • Inspect all aspects of work from the jobsite to equipment before commencing work. 
  • Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork.
  • Communicate Updates with Clients.
  • Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc. 
  • Wash and clean company equipment – Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc. 
  • General housekeeping – sweeping floors, taking out trash, and helping keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs – Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas. 
  • Complete time sheets and all admin paperwork by required deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Must be capable of passing a hair follicle and urine drug screen. (including randoms)
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical School a plus.
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience required.
  • 1 to 2 years supervisory experience required.
  • Previous work experience at Industrial Owner Facilities 
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Experience in chemical cleaning and unit decontamination field.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid TWIC card – if recently applied for it, a receipt will suffice for interview purposes.
  • Ability to travel out of town up to 25% of the time and work at Industrial Owner Facilities.
  • Perform Manual Labor to complete tasks associated with service lines performed by USA Debusk
  • Be On Call 24/7, Flexible - willingness to work off shifts and weekends.
  • Able to work shifts up to 12-16 hours (day or night), both indoors and outdoors in the sun, which requires being on your feet. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned. 
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
  • Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, and kneeling continuously.
