General Electrician, C&I

We are currently seeking a General Electrician, C&I, for our client on a 6-month contract basis in Rancho Cordova, California. The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrical technician with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key duties include installing, operating, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, conduit bending, troubleshooting DCS, and performing industrial electrical maintenance.

Job Requirements:

• Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
• Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them
• Ensure piping complies with electrical codes
• Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to buildings
• Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
• Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
• Replace conduit and wiring as needed
• Replace circuit breakers as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Qualified Electrical Technician
• Proficient in bending conduit (EMT) is required
• Proficient in wire bending
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a service environment at commercial scale
• General electrician code knowledge
• Strong communicator
• Strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• First Aid trained, CPR
• OSHA 10
