Overview
Abacus Staffing is seeking dedicated and reliable Slip-Sheet operators to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including order picking, loading, and unloading of products. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently.
• Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Load and unload products from delivery trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Build pallets of goods for shipment, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company policies to promote workplace safety.
• Assist warehouse supervisors with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and techniques is advantageous.
• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety practices related to warehouse operations, including OSHA standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual productivity.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Shifts:

1st- 6:00 Am to 2:30 PM Monday-Friday, OT available

2nd- 4:30 PM to 1:00 Am Monday to Friday, OT Available

Payrate: 

1st- $21.00/Hour

2nd- $22.50/Hour
