Job Description: Stonefield Engineering and Design is currently recruiting a Project Engineer/Manager to join the Traffic Engineering Team. This is a dynamic position that will offer the opportunity for diverse interaction and rapid growth. The right candidate will bring a strong technical background, interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and a desire for continued growth and learning. As Stonefield is a multi-disciplinary firm, interest in cross-disciplinary work within the field of Traffic Engineering, Highway/Roadway Design and Civil Engineering is encouraged. Job responsibilities will include teaching and training entry-level to mid-level designers and analysts, preparation of Traffic Impact and Parking Studies, Intersection Capacity Analyses, Design of Traffic Signal and Roadway Improvement Plans, preparation of Maintenance and Traffic Control drawings, creation of Traffic Signal Timing Directives, and development of comprehensive submission and applications to jurisdictional bodies. The position will also include project management responsibilities, zoning and land development permitting, field inspection, hydraulic and preparation of project reports. It is expected that this individual would have the aptitude to, with proper training, attend and present before technical and lay bodies at municipal, county, and state meetings.
