VIE Media is an award winning full-service digital marketing and advertising firm headquartered in Maryland Heights, Missouri. We specialize in Social Media Marketing/Advertising, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Web Design & Development, Video Production, and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising.

VIE Media is seeking a creative individual with an interest in writing and marketing to fulfill the role of a Copywriter. This position requires ample knowledge of copywriting, content creation, branding, and other basic marketing & writing concepts. Within this role, we are looking for someone to use their passion and skill to create engaging and informational copy/content based on a client’s creative strategy. The copywriter should not only clearly communicate the desired messages but also develop visitor engagement from the target audiences through their writing.

The copywriter will work under the direction of the Director of Search Marketing. In this role, they will have a hand in all phases of the web copy process, from writing engaging headlines and body copy for websites to the writing and research needed to create blogs and articles. They will also work hand-in-hand with the SEO and web teams to ensure that headings, body copy, and blogs are all search engine optimized.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with creating an overall content strategy for clients
• Research Industry trends and insights to write engaging web-page copy
• Research & writing for informational blogs & articles
• Learn on-page basics for search engine optimization
• Ensure clients’ messages, products, or services are well-communicated, consistent, and closely aligned with their business goals.
• Working with our SEO and Web departments to create engaging and concise copy for the intended audience.
• Daily use of Google Drive
• Daily use of Monday.com for project management

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of copywriting experience
• A strong copywriting portfolio showing your best work and ability to write in various brand voices and styles.
• Possesses strong written and communication skills that demonstrate a knowledge of writing for the web and basic on-page SEO.
• Detailed proofreading skills
• Thirst for knowledge and growth within your position
• A robust attention to detail
• Time management skills to balance and meet deadlines
• Must have your own laptop/desktop computer
• BA/BS or equivalent

Salary: $40 – $50K
