Summary:

Are you passionate about safety, codes, and compliance? We’re looking for a dedicated Construction Inspector to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for evaluating construction sites, reviewing technical plans, and ensuring that all work meets established standards for safety and quality. Your attention to detail and knowledge of construction practices will support successful project execution and regulatory compliance. Candidates must be located within 60 miles of Fond Du Lac, West Bend, Clinton areas.

• Hours: Day shift hours, plus travel to job site locations
• Pay: $24-$30, based on experience, plus mileage

Responsibilities:

• Traveling to job site to conduct detailed inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Review blueprints, plans, and schematics to ensure construction aligns with approved designs.
• Monitor material quality and craftsmanship throughout each phase of construction.
• Evaluate construction methods and materials to detect inconsistencies or potential problems.
• Collect and report data on project progress, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address inspection findings and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Document inspection results and prepare clear, thorough reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in water/sewer and/or road construction.
• Proficient in modern construction inspection techniques and quality control practices.
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical construction documents.
• Familiarity with pipeline construction methods is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction management best practices.
• Skilled in data collection and progress monitoring.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
